My blog has had a bit of a makeover as it will soon be a part of the TableFare website. What is TableFare? It is a business David and I have been working on for the last two years, and we are finally getting close to launching our first product!
The venture began when I became so frustrated at not being able to find the right tools for various kitchen tasks that I realized I should just start a company to make all the things I can’t find on the market. Anyone who reads mix, mix…stir, stir has probably noticed that I have a thing for spices, and I’ve never been able to find a good storage solution. It was really this spice storage frustration that launched TableFare and the first product will be my dream spice storage system! If all goes well, we begin selling the product in early 2009, but until then we’re keeping most of the details under wraps.
Mix, mix… stir, stir will continue to be about my cooking experiences where I share lessons learned, recipes I create, and other cooking or food-related information. Occasionally I will share some TableFare news and stories about launching a company from scratch in an industry I have never worked in before (there are a few stories there!).

One more thing….are you familar with a spice grinder/storage system OXO had back about 10 years ago? I still have the jars with grinders on top. I just refill them. But yes I totally grind too. So much better.
