I used large plastic bins sold at restaurant supply stores. I like them because they have wide openings so I can scoop and level right over the bin. They work for me because I have room in a cupboard to keep them out of sight. They aren't the prettiest things to have sitting out. I am just getting my next Kitchen Cure post ready and I will include a photo of them. For powdered and brown sugar I use large Gladware containers.

I'm curious to find out how you store your flour and sugar. Surely you must go through a ton of the stuff! I am looking for a storage solution to the original bags the white loot comes in and so far have come up with the click clack Airtight Store-All and old fashioned ceramic containers. I've also considered the aluminum containers that my mom used - some are available with a silicone gasket. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I think this was the strategy my parents used when I was growing up. Every time one of us kids graduated from high school they would move to a house with one less bedroom.

Well, really, it's very simple... all you have to do is move! Moving forces you to go through your stuff, throw out the old, and you automatically arrange it very neatly in your new kitchen.

LOL, not very practical, I know.

Good luck! I'm sure it's going to look fantastic when you're through.

Good luck! I just reorganized my kitchen and so far so good. I'm making an effort to put everything back in the proper place instead of just throwing things in cabinets.

I was thinking about joining up for the cure, too. I'm such a big procrastinator and there is some small amounts of clutter in the kitchen I would like to get out. Even if I don't join up on line, I know that I will get some inspiration from everyone else. Good luck with everything! Can't wait to see how it all turns out.
