Cleaned out of SpiceCare!

Posted on August 22, 2012 by Carol Peterman

Update: 10/22/12 Both World Spice and My Spice Sage are now out of  SpiceCare inventory.

Last week we announced that we will no longer be producing SpiceCare, and much to our surprise we are already out of inventory. Don’t panic just yet, because a few of our retail partners stocked up on the last of our inventory. If you are interested in buying SpiceCare, you will find it available for a little while longer through World Spice Merchants and My Spice Sage. They both sell online and Wolrd Spice also has a retail store in Seattle.

SpiceCare System

You will notice that despite no longer having a product to sell, our website is alive and well. We will keep it stocked with great recipes and spice information, so don’t be a stranger. You can also stay in contact with us on Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported us and loves their SpiceCare!

Happy cooking,

Carol & David

If anyone is choosing between placing an order for Spice Care complete sets from either My Spice Sage and World Spice, note that the sets described at each site are slightly different: they have different total numbers of containers and different numbers of container sizes.

I just noted this after ordering 2 complete sets from My Spice Sage. While My Spice Sage offers free shipping on most orders, their Spice Care sets cost $10 more because the sets have 4 more containers in total, but fewer large & medium containers, and a lot more small containers than the set offered by World Spice. In hindsight I wish I had ordered from World Spice for more large and medium containers and fewer small containers. Oh well.

    Hey Carol,

What are you up to? Do you still blow glass? I have a tiny home studio with a view of Lake Washington. It’s been a long time since we have blown together at Pratt. Drop me an email if you would like to come blow glass with me at my place.

My order of two sets of SpiceCare just arrived from My Spice Sage. Despite the 24 container description on their website, the sets they sent are the 20 container sets with 3 lg, 10 med, and 7 small containers. Apparently their website wasn’t updated when the set contents were changed. I’m actually glad, because the 20 set configuration suits my needs better.

    Hi,

I’m so sorry to hear about the discontinuing of your product! I stumbled upon it online while looking for alternative spicerack options. It really is a tragedy–SpiceCare looks fantastic (and I admit, I have been looking online hoping against hope to find a set still available!). Best of luck to you!

    Regards,

    Nicole Berry

I agree with Angie, this is my new favorite system, I bought some back in Feb. and was hoping to register for more when I got married but haven’t been able to find any. I LOOOOVE this system. It’s so neat and organized. I hope you will make them again someday, and I hope to be on your mailing list when you do, cause this is an awesome system. I wish you all the best for the future.

    Kind regards,
    Amanda

Really disappointed to read this. I have been using my SpiceCare system for 1.5 years now and I love it! It’s such a great product. :(

I have saved for 4 years to buy a complete system for all my spices ( i got a lot) and I am soooo sad to see you all leave! I guess I better buy now before it’s too late!
