Newsletters!
Target in Sight!

Seasoned Greetings!

Quite a bit has been happening the world of TableFare, and I'm going to use that as the excuse why we didn't get around to sending a newsletter in October! So, let's catch up, shall we?

A couple weeks ago we gave our designers the list of final changes based on the testing we did with the first set of prototypes. Yes, I know it's risky to use the word "final," but we really think we've zeroed in on what we want the first production units to look like. They're going to crank through the changes and we'll probably have one more prototype created as a safety check before we head out to get production quotes.

Meanwhile, we've green-lighted our marketing firm to dive into the scary world of branding, messaging, positioning and all those other things that will ultimately compel everyone to buy our products! For months you've been hearing us talk about doing some focus group sessions, and that will be one of the first things that the marketers will tackle. We will give them the list of people who expressed interest in participating, but at this point we don't know how many of you they will call or when the sessions will be. If you have not already told us that you'd like to take part (and you live in the Seattle area), it's not too late to drop Carol a note at carol@tablefare.com and let her know!

What we're most excited about, however, is that we have a major target in our sights: we are planning to show our product at the massive Gourmet Housewares Show in May 2008! Having a firm date to shoot for has pretty much changed everything for us and we foresee things getting quite busy in the coming months.

And finally, since you've been so kind as to read to the bottom of this newsletter, we'll let you in on a little secret: work on our second product is now underway! Sorry, pretty much everything about it is still hush-hush so we can't say much of anything at this point. But at least we've moved beyond that state of "one trick pony!"

Best regards,
Carol and David Peterman
